Thaipusam. It is a Hindu festival where devotees would carry huge metal frames hooked on their bodies to offer thanks to their god. They had to abstain from sex, meat for a long time and also pray fervently in the lead up to this activity. This is held on 25th January 2005, starting from Sri Perumal Temple along Little India to another temple. Women could choose to carry jugs of milk on their heads.
